Join the Colorado Blueliners Booster Club! Just print out our Word Membership Application and mail it in.
The Colorado Blueliners Booster Club is a not-for-profit organization of over 75 people who think hockey is the greatest sport on earth. The club is committed to support the Colorado Avalanche, Rocky Mountain Rage, and Colorado Eagles and to promote the sport of hockey in the Denver and Northern Colorado area. In addition the club provides social opportunities for its members in the form of travel, community service events and group activities. Our organization is over 36 years old and continues to thrive through the various changes in hockey and teams in the state.
For your yearly membership fee, you will receive a membership card, monthly newsletter, copy of the Club Bylaws and all membership privileges. You'll be able to join us at our monthly meetings (September through June), where we meet for a social hour, dinner, discuss club business, conduct drawings and auctions for autographed NHL and hockey memorabilia and listen to guest speakers. Speakers at past meetings have included current NHL Referees and Linesmen, TV and radio broadcasters, the Colorado Avalanche Public Relations Directors, Rocky Mountain News Sports writers, NCAA Collegiate Hockey Coaches as well as representatives of area hockey charities.
As a member of the Colorado Blueliners Booster Club, you will also be able to join us on road trips where members of the club travel as a group to other NHL cities in the US and Canada. Past Colorado Blueliners official trips have included visits to Las Vegas, Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, New York and New Jersey. Join now, and you’ll be among the first to receive notice of next year’s trips. All you have to do is pack your bags, root for your team and meet some great people from other NHL Booster Clubs around North America.
In August of 2001, we were honored to be the host city for the National Hockey League Booster Club Convention. Many club members volunteereed to help show people a great time in the Denver area. We also held many sight-seeing trips prior to convention, and the weather was great as usual.
The club holds a number of events each year for our members. Each summer we hold our annual Miniature Golf Tournament. We also have our annual "Mystery Trip", group gatherings at baseball games and visits to the local Colorado gambling centers, plus occasional road game parties and a holiday party at a variety of venues around the area.
The Colorado Blueliners are proud to be involved with many events designed to make a difference in our community. Our members host fund-raisers in support of hockey-related charities in Colorado, boys' and girls' youth hockey programs as well as taken underprivileged children to Colorado Avalanche games through our "Child Sponsor" program.
Join us now and cheer on our local teams in the 2007 - 2008 Season. Join in the fun by becoming an official member of the Colorado Blueliners, the official booster club of Colorado hockey. Join now and your membership is good through October of each year! You will start receiving the monthly newsletter as soon as we process your application. Email newsletters are available (the colour is better!); you may also receive a hardcopy if you like. T-shirts and pins will be available later this year.
